Anja was born and raised in Belgium. She is the real language wiz of the company speaking in Greek, English, German, French (badly, she is from the wrong side of Belgium) Dutch and Flemish. (The last two are really the same they just don’t tell us).

Anja has been with the company since the early years and has been influential in developing the administrative systems that often work so well. Besides, administration, accounts and operations, Anja has through the years gradually taken the role of a surrogate mother for many of the company’s ex-clients who settle in Pelion providing local advice on a verity of issues property related or not.

Anja coordinates for our clients, utility payments,  house maintenance, insurance, parking a car, renting a storage, finding a pet sitter and almost whatever a non local would find a challenge especially for those who maybe away from Pelion for parts of the year. If you call her however, be careful, she is also a very good sales person. She was employed at the company after she persuaded her Greek husband to abandon his beautiful home island of Samos and come to Pelion.

The company thought , now, if you can do that to a Greek man, you can sell anything. Anja lives with her husband and two very young daughters in a suburb of Volos overlooking the entire Pelion peninsular. Even the position of her home reflects the surrogate mother nature of her position in the company, monitoring and looking after all our clients. Next time you have a power cut, don’t bother calling her, she probably already knows and is working on it.
