Kalamaki is a quite genuine working mountain village situated in a very central position in Pelion. It is the perfect place to explore the entire peninsular. You are not more than 45 minutes ride from any part of the entire mountain, southern beaches, the Aegean sea front, Volos, etc. Kalamos is a wealthy mining village producing most of the famous Pelion slates used for roofing in the traditional villages.
