Zagora is the capital village of East Pelion situated several kilometers above the beautiful beaches of Chorefto and Ag. Saranda. She is a large traditional mountain village with plenty of village life. She is the capital of agricultural activity in the area and is home to many apple growers who own hundreds of groves in the surrounding area.
Owning a stone manor house near the center of the village with mature gardens, dominating balconies and clear view of the blue sea must be a dream. Don’t mean to wake you up but although you can just get the keys and move in most dreamers would like to make some alterations to this house to bring it close to perfection.
This manor was built in 1920 and typically enjoys a high celling of over 4.5 meters. It consists of two floors of 150 m2s. It has 4 bedrooms a reception room, a very large living room, kitchen, three bathrooms, large garden, verandahs and private parking. She was fully resorted about 20 years ago and is now on offer for 100,000,000 Drachmas. Drachma used to be the world’s oldest used currency which was replaced by Euro in January 2002. The owner who is hoping to move to London and buy a small two bedroom flat with the money, liked the old Drachma so much that he thinks if you like his house so much then you should work it out yourself. Here is a tip from Pelion Property Consultants (1 Euro = 340.75 Drachmas)
